Woodland Workshop

Location

A beautiful spot between Worcester and Leominster with access to a glorious view over to the Malverns. So why didn't I get a picture?

Workshop

The workshop was spacious with plenty of shave horses, benches and pole lathes along one side. The tarp roof let in a lot of light and the one rainy day went away unnoticed. It was very well equipped with plenty of the more common tools to go round as well as lots of nice little extras like jigs and wedges. The demand for juice in the cordless drills was well met by the solar generator.

Oven and Hotbox

The cooking was done in a wood fired oven with a boiler plate and this then fed into the hot and warm boxes into which components were placed overnight for drying. There was no shortage of hot water with kettles constantly on the go over the campfire as well.

Camping

A decent compost loo and woodland shower made for a very pleasant camping experience with space for tents here and there in the woods as well as log cabins to stay in. Although I slept in my van I had no need or want for it other than to lay my head.
