Campfire Singing

Many thanks to Mike's assistance's for their help and mentoring throughout the week and especially to Jack and Owen for stoking up the evenings entertainment and retailing very good ale.

Beforehand I would of cast a rather cynical eye on campfire singing, but after this week I'm still wandering round singing about schnapps and chickens on rafts.

Food and Wine

The week was also a treat for my belly, each taking their turn to cook up some very nice food and thank you Vincent for providing a variety of very tasty wines to go with the meals and to Stew for the daily bread making.

Fan Birds

Everyone seemed to bring something to the party, Nigel had a talent for making Fan Birds (and giving me the giggles) and gave a little master class of his own on how to make them.

Beards

Having not shaven for a week my initial beard growth may have made it over the point of no return! I feel compelled to keep it going, mentally wrestling the itchy spells of temptation to shave it off.

I've also discovered it has mystical properties, teleporting me back to the woods whenever I stroke it during the dull moments of my day.
